Here are the Richard Petty Motorsports team results from the Richmon International Raceway on Saturday, September 12th:
• 12th— Kasey Kahne — Budweiser Dodge — Clinched a spot in the Chase for the Championship.
• 16th— Reed Sorenson — Reynolds Dodge—now 28th in points
• 23rd— AJ Allmendinger— Paralyzed Veterans of America Dodge—now 25th in points
• 34th— Elliott Sadler — Best Buy/Insignia Dodge– 26th in points.
Notes:
• Denny Hamlin, Kurt Busch and Jeff Gordon swept the top three spots.
• Rain delayed the race about 30 minutes.
• Next race is Sunday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
