Beginning with the 2012 Daytona 500, Smithfield Foods, Inc., has embarked on a, multiyear, integrated partnership
with Richard Petty Motorsports.
"This partnership with Smithfield Foods is part of the beginning of a new chapter for the No. 43 team," team owner

to take the partnership to a higher level out of the box."
With the partnership, Smithfield Foods will engage in a series of unique promotional initiatives with its core
products throughout the NASCAR Sprint Series campaign. Several of Smithfield Foods brands also will adorn the
legendary No. 43 Ford Fusion. For 15 races, including the Daytona 500, Smithfield Foods will serve the team's
primary sponsor.
